The staff was really friendly. They took care of my parking permit. it seemed like a genuine, family-run hotel. my room was comfy, very clean, and tidy. i had a sound sleep.

the room was clean and provided everything i needed. the location is quiet, yet central. the staff were very friendly. it is a great location for the town hall or the everyman theatre.

homely feel central location helpful staff
This is my second visit and I still find the atmosphere cute. The staff is helpful. The pub has a homely feel to it. The location suited my needs, offering easy access to the central area.
I noticed a sewage smell in the bathroom. The room was also quite dark. An option for brighter lighting in the bedroom would improve the experience.

Central Pub Stay!
family pub superb location tidy condition
This family pub had a superb location near the main high street. The host was lovely and very friendly. The room was clean and in a very tidy condition. The value for money was great. This location was convenient for town center access.
The drainage system had some smells, made the bathroom a bit unpleasant at times.

amazing stay!
warm welcome free parking easy walks
I stayed in a twin room located right at the top. It had character and was much more comfortable than expected. the location allowed easy walks to the town center and montpellier area to see the gorgeous regency houses, so cool! despite facing the main road, i slept well thanks to secondary glazing, awesome. the host gave a warm welcome, and i got free parking, super convenient.
there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom and the room, ugh. i seemed like the decor was very dated. there were limited electrical outlets to charge my phone. not ideal!

Free parking next to the inn was a huge plus, and they even offered complimentary hot drinks in the room. These thoughtful touches. it was so convenient.

the location was superb for exploring, just a short walk to both the town center and the montpellier district, with its fine regency houses, totally worth it! buses were easy to catch from here, too.

The pub had a cozy atmosphere. The barman and regulars were super friendly company when i had a nightcap before bed, it was a good experience. i really enjoyed the convivial environment.
