Central and Accommodating Stay

homely feelcentral locationhelpful staffsewage smell
This is my second visit and I still find the atmosphere cute. The staff is helpful. The pub has a homely feel to it. The location suited my needs, offering easy access to the central area.
I noticed a sewage smell in the bathroom. The room was also quite dark. An option for brighter lighting in the bedroom would improve the experience.

Central Pub Stay!

family pubsuperb locationtidy condition
This family pub had a superb location near the main high street. The host was lovely and very friendly. The room was clean and in a very tidy condition. The value for money was great. This location was convenient for town center access.
The drainage system had some smells, made the bathroom a bit unpleasant at times.
Rooms
8/10
The twin room included a private bathroom and basic amenities. It was positioned above the pub, but it remained quiet. The room was well kept and provided everything for a comfortable stay.
Service

Staff members were unbelievably cute and accommodating. The host and his daughter ran the bar efficiently. They provided assistance with directions. I felt well-cared for.
Dining

The pub did not offer meals, but there was a Weatherspoons very close. I had no problem finding some delicious options nearby. The pub provides a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy beverages.

amazing stay!

I stayed in a twin room located right at the top. It had character and was much more comfortable than expected. the location allowed easy walks to the town center and montpellier area to see the gorgeous regency houses, so cool! despite facing the main road, i slept well thanks to secondary glazing, awesome. the host gave a warm welcome, and i got free parking, super convenient.
there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom and the room, ugh. i seemed like the decor was very dated. there were limited electrical outlets to charge my phone. not ideal!
